  1. These General Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of any services, platforms, applications or materials provided under the name LEXIS platform (“Platform”).

  2. By accessing or using the Platform, the user (“User”) confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

  1. No Guarantee of Availability or accuracy

  1. The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

  2. The purpose of the LEXIS Platform is to provide users with tools and services that facilitate data processing, workflow orchestration, and integration of high-performance computing and cloud resources. 3. LEXIS does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, completeness, accuracy, or suitability of the Platform for any particular purpose. Even though the Platform is designed for the purposes described above, it may not meet the specific requirements or expectations of any user or be suitable for their particular use case.

For the purpose of authentication and access management, LEXIS stores the User’s first name, last name, email address, and information about the Identity Provider used for login (e.g., institutional or third-party authentication service). This information is used solely to enable secure access, proper user identification, and accountability of actions performed within the Platform, including the management and execution of long-running tasks such as data transfers, computationally intensive jobs, or other extended operations initiated by the User.

  2. If the User wishes to exercise their rights under the GDPR regulation (e.g. information about stored personal data or the right to be forgotten), they can do so via the following email link: support@lexis.tech.

  3. The User may change or revoke their identity management preferences at any time in the Platform settings.

  1. No Relationship or Obligation

  2. LEXIS is under no obligation to provide support, maintenance, updates, or modifications to the Platform.

  1. Indemnification

  1. The User agrees to indemnify and hold harmless LEXIS, its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of the User’s use of the Platform.

  1. Modifications

  1. LEXIS reserves the right to modify or discontinue use of the Platform, or to amend these Terms at any time, without notice. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

  1. Governing Law

  1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in the jurisdiction of LEXIS’s seat of business, excluding its conflict of law rules.

  1. Severability

  1. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
