Expirio

The **LEXIS Platform** provides secure storage
for user credentials and secrets. This functionality
is divided into two main parts:

**1. Integration with external services**

The platform supports connections to external services
such as MetaCentrum or NRP repositories. Authentication
is performed using the user’s existing session or
access token obtained during login.

**2. User-defined credentials and configuration**

Users can define and manage their own credentials,
such as passwords, URLs, and other parameters,
which are later utilised within workflows.
For example, a user may upload encrypted data
to an HPC center, while the corresponding password
is securely stored within the platform and only used when required.
